The first Digital Village (DV) multiverse land sale ever is called Terra Initium. This sale will be broken down into numerous smaller drops that will span over several weeks. The parcels of land sold in Terra Initium will belong to World 1 – The Digital Village mainland. This world will be home to some of the most iconic attractions in the Multiverse and will be highly sought after.

The first DV land drop will consist of 50 parcels of land – 45 standard parcels, and 5 premium parcels. To honor the support of the early villagers that will populate the Multiverse, owners of the first 50 parcels of land ever sold will be airdropped a Founders Card. These cards will grant holders unique opportunities, numerous benefits, and utility. The attributes of the Founder’s cards will be revealed in the near future and will have an extremely limited supply.

Parcels were priced independently based on attributes (explained in the previous section). Standard parcels of land will be priced between $350-$650. Premium parcels will undergo an auction and can’t be purchased directly. The minimum bid for a premium parcel will be between $4000-$6000.All prices will be converted to $ETH at the time of the land sale.
As a reminder, those who manage to acquire a parcel during the Terra Initium: Phase I land drop will be airdropped a Founder’s Card.

What is Digital Village Land used for?
Land in the Digital Village Multiverse is a digital piece of real estate registered on the blockchain as an NFT. Users, creatives, designers, and brands can use land in DV to build homes, venues, shops, and digital experiences.
- Users can construct buildings.
- Users can build experiences (such as concerts, nightclubs, and art galleries).
- Users can rent their land to others to generate passive income.
- Users can sell tickets to monetize their land.

Standard vs Premium Parcels
Land in Digital Village is split into two categories:
- Standard parcels
- Premium parcels
All parcels are given a score that determines if it is Standard or Premium.
These scores are determined by Topographical and Topological factors and contribute to the calculation of the initial land sale price. After a parcel of land is purchased, social factors will be used to evaluate the estimated value of the parcel. This value is dynamic and will fluctuate based on activity & behavior in The Multiverse.
The following attributes are used to evaluate a parcel’s Topographical score in Digital Village:
Proximity to Portals
Portals in DV are used to teleport between zones – making them a very important feature in the multiverse. Closer proximity to a portal will increase the land’s Topographical score.
A parcel of land that has adjoining parcels available for purchase is considered more valuable since users will gain the ability to merge land. If there is a higher number of unclaimed land surrounding a parcel, its Topographical score will increase.
The following attributes are used to evaluate a parcel’s Topological score in Digital Village:
A more square-like parcel of land makes it easier for villagers to bring their ideas to life when building on their land. Uniformity will increase the land’s Topological score.
Percent of Total Land
Similar to the real world, larger parcels of land are typically more valuable. The larger the area the parcel of land occupies in a zone, the more its topological score will increase
Not all land is suitable for construction. Some parcels of land will be partially covered with water, or debris, or simply include uneven terrain. Due to their nature, these areas can’t be built upon. A larger area of land that can support construction will increase its Topological score.
A parcel of land that is partially covered by water is a double-edged sword. A little bit of the surface water will positively impact the Topological Score. However, too much water will have a negative impact on the score due to affecting the buildable land.
A parcel of land with a high altitude will increase the Topological score. Further, a parcel of land closer to sea level will also boost the Topological score. In other words, given a range of altitude, the end-points will always result in a larger increase in the Topological score. The landscape of Digital Village is beautiful – the view is everything.
The following attributes are used to evaluate a parcel’s Score score in Digital Village:
Neighbor Sale Price
Similar to the real world, the value of your neighbor’s properties affects your own. If an adjacent parcel of land sells for a very high price, your land’s social score will increase, and vice versa.
Value of Assets on Land
Building upon your land can increase its value. Using valuable assets during construction will contribute to the value of your land. If you build a luxury condominium, you might find that your parcel of land has increased in value.
The Multiverse is all about interacting with others. If a lot of villagers visit and spend time on your property (or surrounding properties), your social score will increase.
