Fast forward to March 2020 regarding Blade Battery: #vechain #vet
“Today, many vehicle brands are in discussion with us about partnerships based on the technology of the Blade Battery,” said He Long. He added that BYD will gladly share and work with global partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for all industry players.”
Then in July 2021, “BYD has equipped all of its new vehicles with Blade batteries, which have advantages over the standard lithium batteries widely used in the industry, the Chinese electric vehicle maker told Yicai today.” 7/20/21
On September 8, 2021 BYD officially launched the e-platform 3.0 for pure electric vehicles. The Ocean-X brings brand new experiences in performance and intelligent driving thanks to the fully integrated blade batteries in the car body, an 8-in-1 electric powertrain, and an all-wheel-drive architecture.
As @manwithnoname asked Sunny Lu in the AMA on September 9, “What part is VeChain playing with BYD new blade battery technology?”
